Viral warts - one area (max 5x5 cm)
Photodynamic therapy for viral warts involves the application of a photosensitiser to the affected area, followed by activation with light of a specific wavelength. The therapy destroys infected cells whilst sparing surrounding healthy tissue.
- Recommended number of sessions
- 3-6 sessions in 2-4 week intervals; determined individually by the physician
- Physical activity
- Protect the treated area from direct sunlight for 48 hours; avoid swimming pools and saunas until healing
